T-Square Design Associates

大阪市内の公園沿いに建つタワーマンションの改修設計の依頼である。オーナーは、公園の樹々をベストな高さで望めるこのフロアの公園側住戸を以前より探しており、ようやく手に入れた物件である。確かに窓際に立ち、公園側を見ると、一瞬セントラルパーク沿いかと勘違いするような場所で（大げさかな）、本当に気持ちが良い。この物件はオーナーの別邸で、3LDKを2LDKに変更し、内装を全てやり替えるという内容で、海外にもよく行かれるオーナーと素材選びを吟味しながら、仕上げ素材を決定していった。非常にセンスが良いオーナー夫婦が、これからじっくり時間を掛けて家具を選び、少しずつ良くなっていく空間を楽しみにしたい。

We were asked to design and renovate one of the units in a high rise apartment building that stands alongside a park in Osaka City. The owner had been searching for a unit on this floor facing the park, from which they could get the best view of the trees. And they finally managed to get their hands on this property. When you stand by the window and look towards the park, you would mistake it for being along Central Park (maybe that's an exaggeration), with it's really pleasant location. This property is the owner's second home, and the plan was to change the 3 bedroom apartment to 2 bedroom apartment and completely redecorate the interior. We carefully considered the choice of materials with the owner, who often travels abroad, when making a decision of the finishing materials. The owner couple, who have great taste, will take their time to choose the furniture, and we look forward to seeing the space improve little by little.
