It is a small-scale renovation project of only living, dining and kitchen along with corridor area in one dwelling unit of an 18-year-old apartment. The owner who inherited this property was concerned about the small kitchen and the old image of the interior and wanted to renovate them before they moved in. So the L-shaped kitchen, which was originally housed in a small space was changed to a long I-shaped kitchen that spanned to the dining space, and replaced the entire floor with light-colored cork flooring. Naturally, the finish of the walls and ceiling and the small details that accompany them were also changed according to the changes mentioned above in finishing, creating a completely different space. The Japanese-style room attached to the living room was replaced by a part of the living room, and along with that, the closet was reborn as a reading space where everyone in the family can use. This is a good example of a small renovation that is part of an interior space that can be transformed into a comfortable space by completely changing the image.
