T-Square Design Associates

奈良県香芝市内にある築17年のマンションの全面リフォームである。延床面積が100㎡を越えている少し大きめの空間だが、壁式構造の上、構造的な区画が耐力壁によって、かなり細かく区切られており、間仕切壁のほぼ全てが耐力壁であったため、間取りの変更はほぼ不可能であった。更にインテリアの基調色も暗く、せっかくの南西角住戸にも関わらず、暗い印象を与えていた。そこで、出来る範囲での間取り変更に加え、仕上げや細部のディテールといった部分に注力した。そして、仕上材を決定する上で参考にしたのが、手持ち家具類である。ご夫婦のお手持ちの家具類や調度品からナチュラルテイストの明るい空間を導き出した。独特の感性をお持ちのご夫婦が家族4人で楽しく明るく暮らせる家となればと期待している。

This is a complete renovation of a 17-year-old apartment in Kashiba City, Nara Prefecture. The total floor area is over 100 m2, so it is slightly larger than a regular apartment, but the structural divisions are divided into quite small sections by load-bearing walls, and almost all of the partition walls are load-bearing walls, so it was almost impossible to change the layout. Furthermore, the base color of the interior was dark, which gave the apartment a gloomy impression, despite it being located on the southwest corner. Therefore, in addition to changing the layout as much as possible, we focused on the finishing and fine details. We also referred to the furniture that the couple already had in their possession when deciding on the finishing materials. We derived a bright space with a natural taste from the couple's own furniture and furnishings. We hope that this house will be a fun and bright place for the couple, who have a unique sensibility, and their family of four to live in.
