The client owned a land in a corner of Higashiosaka City where many small factories and prefabricated houses are densely packed When planning a house there, we thought about the scale of the city. On the first walk from the station to the site, we felt the atmosphere and scale of the city that is unique to Higashiosaka, which is not found in other cities. This unique sense of scale is created by the intertwining of various elements such as the size of the buildings, the density, people, and cars, and we thought that if we could create a house that blends well into this atmosphere, it would not destroy the sense of scale of the city. Therefore, the building is a separate type, with two buildings located on the north and south sides, and the sense of volume is further suppressed, and it is conscious of blending in with the surrounding buildings. The north and south buildings are three-dimensionally similar as if they resonate with each other, and this house is conscious of blending in as much as possible with the sense of scale of the city.
